TRC Staffing is recruiting for an Electronic Technician for a client in the Melbourne area.
This is a direct hire opportunity.
Core
Responsibilities:
Perform PCB, Unit and Top Level tests for products according to company procedures during the production cycle as directed by Leads, Supervisors, and Management.
Troubleshoot, Service and Test both Customer returns and Production systems according to company procedures.
Record and maintain test data for products.
Record service information for products.
Calibrate and maintain test stations and equipment.
Back up responsibilities for other Technicians.
Works cross departmentally to ensure the resolution of problems and action items as needed.
Supports the development and upkeep of procedures and work instructions.
Participates in the Root Cause analysis process; supports resulting corrective action plans (CAPA).
Requirements:
Able to follow written procedures and verbal direction from supervisor.
Able to interpret Electronic Schematics and knowledge of basic electronics theory.
Proper Use of Test Equipment including an Oscilloscope and DMM (Digital Multi Meter) in the area of trouble-shooting and equipment functionality.
Working knowledge of company products (Engineering theory of operation, product specific).
Knowledge of advanced quality problem solving and analysis techniques used in performing Root Cause Analysis.
Proficient soldering and re-work techniques in accordance with IPC-610 and IPC-7711.
Proper working knowledge of ESD (Electrostatic Discharge).
Successful completion of ESD training.
Capable of understanding and working within complex medical quality standards and regulations including ISO 9001, ISO 13485, FDA 21 CFR 820, EC MDD 39/42, CA SOR 98/282, etc.
If not medical experience prior Mil-spec is a plus.
Able to assist other supporting departments as required and directed by Leads, Supervisors, and Management Microsoft Office proficiency.
Possesses excellent written, verbal communication, and people skills.
Lean Manufacturing (or Six Sigma) experience is a plus.
Able to work overtime as required to support Manufacturing Operations.
Education and
Experience:
AA, AS degree in Electronic Technology or 2 years equivalent experience Source:

Estimated Salary: $20 to $28 per hour based on qualifications.
