Job Description:
Lead, manager, mentor and actively participate in the subsea networks sales engineering team.
Communicate clearly in writing and verbally about proposal team expectations, schedules, and action items.
Manage daily team priorities and prioritize day:
to:
day proposal/quote activities for the team.
Develop proposal win strategies.
Manage proposal sales engineering team members in a matrix organization environment and complete sales support activities for both terrestrial and Satcom network services.
Sales engineering activities include including technical presentations, proposal writing and participating on selected sales calls and marketing activities.
Edit and comments on proposal materials created by team member.
Qualifications:
Bachelors Degree required, preferably in a technical field such as Engineering 15
years professional work experience 10
years experience required preparing proposals for commercial clients and commercial RFP responses.
Communications experience, preferably in fiber optics Preferred Additional Skills:
Ability to organize priorities in a fast paced environment and meet strict work completion timelines Expert, hands:
on skill in the Microsoft Office Suite Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Visio Excellent written and presentation skills Previous direct supervisory experience of experienced professionals Experience with submarine fiber optics is a plus Requirements:
