Responsibilities:
Ensure customer billing is timely and accurate and manage collections process Work with teams in Houston and Mexico to ensure cash application of customer payments Compile monthly, quarterly and yearly reporting Process non-PO forms for vendor invoices Issue vendor payments and set-up new vendors Prepare and submit payroll and employee benefit information to payroll firm Reconcile employee expense reports Prepare and post various journal entries for the monthly close process Track and manage assets and import / export documentation Ensure all transactions follow company policy and approval processes Complete monthly balance sheet reconciliations Assist in the preparation of quarterly and annual financial schedules
Qualifications:
Bilingual in English and Spanish BS in BA with major in Accounting or Finance CPA preferred 2-5 years of general ledger experience in an accounting / finance role with a global public company Willing to travel up to 25% Advanced Excel user PeopleSoft experience a plus Ability to prioritize tasks and manage large amounts of information Strong attention to detail Ability to work under pressure to meet critical deadlines Effective communication and interpersonal skills Ability to understand transactional processes and implement improvements Requirements:
