Meat Manager - BJs Wholesale Club (Palm Bay, FL)

Job Description Meat Managers are responsible for managing the day to day Meat Department operation to enhance customer satisfaction and achieve sales and profitability goals, forecasting product needs, ordering, pricing and coding products. Duties also include fulfilling member orders and maintaining proper inventory levels and merchandise displays. Additional responsibilities include but not limited to: Ordering supplies and equipment Conducting inventories Meeting or exceeding all sales and profit budgets Controlling shrink and salvage to budgeted percents Other responsibilities as assigned Job Requirements High school diploma Formal food service vocational education preferred Knowledge Journeyman Meat Cutter, of product and the merchandising of perishables Strong communication skills 3 years experience managing a meat department in a Supermarket or equivalent type of operation Source:

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
