POSITION
Summary:
To assemble finished product using sub-assemblies, parts, and fasteners according to customer specification, drawings and company policies.
To perform spot welding using resistance welders/machines.
Essential Functions:
Use hand and power tools.
Sets up and operated machines such as drill press, grinders, riveters.
Assembles components by examining connections for correct fit, fastening parts, and sub-assemblies, per customer specifications / blueprints.
Checks assembled products, comparing each to customer requirements, blueprints and BOM and Router instructions.
Cleans and prepares surfaces to be spot welded, sets up spot welding machine Spot weld materials using adhesives and templates.
Resolves assembly problems and reports other problems to Supervisor for assistance.
Maintains clean and safe working environment in line with company policies.
Support production schedule by safely performing work efficiently.
JOB
Qualifications:
Requires a high school diploma or an equivalent degree in a related area.
5-7 years of experience in the field or in related area.
Experience in intricate hand assembly.
Attention to detail.
Ability to read blue prints.
Requires the wearing of personal protective equipment.
