Job Description:
Act as the primary focal point for the management of various HBX projects on behalf of the Global Accounting Organization (GAO) and act as the liaison with cross functional team members.
Lead and coordinate HBX projects preparing cost benefit analysis for initial approval and developing project schedule.
Projects could be in support of any of the GAO team initiatives.
Manage matrix resources devoted to process improvement facilitation and implementation.
Qualifications:
BS/BA degree in Accounting and/or Finance required with a minimum of seven years of related experience.
Minimum of 3 years of project management experience as the project manager, preferably in the finance area.
Utilization of project management methodology preferably PMI with (or working towards) a PMP certification.
Experience in process improvements in accounting system applications.
Ability to prepare an advanced cost benefit model.
Proficient with Microsoft Office applications, Visio and MS Project.
Preferred Additional Skills:
MBA preferred.
Process improvement experience or education/training is preferred.
Strong communication skills both verbal and written, comfortable presenting to large groups and senior management.
Customer focused and able to deal with all levels within the organization.
