Position
Summary:
This position is responsible for managing all areas related to change management as a result of BOM change, model change or new model releases.
They ensure that documentation is complete and systems are set up in time to order materials and minimize obsolete cost.
In addition, they will coordinate all activity in OBMS related to settings and data integrity to ensure proper planning can take place based on data in the system.

Responsibilities:
Responsible for working with all functional groups to define and establish the overall management strategy regarding the approach to data clean up, maintenance and quality control.
Implement controls and compliance metrics to reduce data issues and improve data quality.
Leverage existing and implement new technologies in the data management arena to deliver improved data accuracy, connectivity between systems and one version of the truth.
Responsible for cleaning and refining databases as needed to ensure integrity.
Takes a hands on approach to data cleaning as required.
Ensures that all settings in OBMS are set correctly to drive correct material planning activity.
This may include option percentages, production schedules; kit offset file, and calendar file.
This will require coordination with portfolio group and plant operations.
Successful execution of strategic data management projects as assigned.
Overall coordination of system and documentation changes as result of BOM change, Model Change or New model releases.
Ensures that material documentation is complete and system is set up in time to order materials based on supplier lead time and minimize obsolete cost.
Job Requirements:
Experience / Education:
Bachelor degree or equivalent experience.
Degree in MIS or Information systems desired but not required.
2 to 5 year experience in a similar role Possess the ability to integrate user requirements and data quality methods to ensure data integrity in the assign databases.
Experience with As-400 based systems strongly desired.
Skills:
Excellent leadership skills with the ability to lead and direct projects across a matrixed environment Excellent communication skills (with staff, peers and upper management) and ability to develop rapport with other functional leaders and supply chain leadership team to influence decision making Ability to do analysis of tradeoffs between business objectives - ability to think systematically and critically Highly proficient in Excel and Access, preparing complex spreadsheets and models from scratch Embraces change, challenges the status quo and make recommendations for improvements to processes.
