Responsibilities:

Manage and control mechanical digital data files and drawings using Intralink and Pro Engineer Wildfire.
:
Prepare and incorporate engineering change orders (ECOs) :
Responsible for generating drawings and documentation packages from 3D models and 2D sketches to ASME Y14.
100 standards.
:
Verify completeness of all finished work including dimensional characteristics and notes.
:
Input data and manage structures in our PDM, (Product Data Management), tool.
:
Design and document tasks may include:
:
Ground structures, electronics and mechanisms, chassis and electronics packaging, precision structures, composite structures and surface design.
Job
Qualifications:
:
AA / AS Degree in Design / Drafting with 2 years of increasingly difficult CAD design and drafting.
:
Able to understand assembly layouts and concepts and knowledge of applicable government and industry standards.
:
Must have a working understanding of the requirements ASME Y14.
5, (Geometric Dimensioning and Tolerance), and its application techniques.
:
Must be familiar with 3 dimensional, object oriented CAD tools specifically Pro Engineer and 2D tools such as AutoCAD.
Preferred Job Skills / Experience / Knowledge:
:
Familiar with the MS Office suite of software.
:
Able to understand parts lists and hardware tree structures.
:
Familiar with electronics, structural or mechanism designs.
:
